Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sand Media handles information when you use our short-form content workspace, contact us, or apply for partner or hands-on services.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use Sand Media, we may handle:
- Account details from your sign-in provider, such as provider ID, name, email address, username and profile image. Available sign-in options include Google and Discord. Discord authorization may also be used to support access to Sand Media’s Discord community where you choose to use that feature.
- Workspace and service information you enter, such as product or company details, team and account names, workflow settings, and campaign or delivery requests.
- Content you provide or create, including uploaded images and assets, prompts, drafts, saved projects, captions and other materials used by content tools.
- Service activity and records, such as feature use, support requests, security and error logs, and payment or subscription status returned by the payment provider. We do not receive your full card number through Sand Media.
- If you submit an agency or hands-on service application, we handle the name and contact details you provide and information about your business or product, such as a website, country, team or creator activity, content operation and requested support. Hands-on applications may also include optional app-store links, revenue range and budget range.
Content suggestions
When you request AI-assisted copy suggestions, the prompt and relevant content context are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to Anthropic models to generate a response. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts unless it is needed for the feature. Generated suggestions may be returned to you and saved only if you choose to keep them in your work.
TikTok post information
For post-tracking features, you may submit a public TikTok post link. We use Apify to retrieve information available from that public link, such as the post’s view count, caption, posting account name and media preview. This feature does not request TikTok sign-in or read private messages, private videos or account settings. If another feature offers linked TikTok access, its requested permissions and data use will be explained before you authorize it.
How we use information
- Provide your account, workspace, education and content features, including saving work you choose to keep, and support Discord community access where you use that feature.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the service, and respond to requests you send us.
- Process purchases, provide access associated with a plan, and handle billing questions.
- Review partner or hands-on service applications and contact you about them.
- Understand visits and general use of the public site through the Whop Pixel, which reports page views and in-app route changes to Whop. We do not put personal information into those marketing event properties.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to run Sand Media and the features described above. These currently include Google and Discord for sign-in; Vercel for hosting and AI Gateway; Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Whop for payments and its page-view pixel; Apify for retrieving public TikTok post information; and Anthropic models through Vercel AI Gateway for requested copy suggestions. Providers process information as needed to deliver their services and under their own terms and privacy practices.
We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers for their own advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to address a security or safety issue, or as part of a business transfer. We do not include personal information in marketing analytics event properties.
Storage and security
Sand Media is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for account, database and file-storage services. Information may be processed in locations where these providers and their service partners operate. We use access controls intended to limit information to people and systems that need it to run the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
How long information is kept
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and workspace records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Retention varies by information type and purpose. When you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify account information where practical, except for information we must keep or need to retain for legitimate operational, security or legal reasons.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to provide, correct or delete personal information associated with your account, or ask questions about how it is used. Some information may remain where a legal, accounting, security or operational reason requires it. You can also manage sign-in-provider connections in that provider’s account settings; this may affect your ability to sign in.
Contact us at support@sandmedia.cc to make a request.
Children
Sand Media is intended for creators, app founders and approved business partners. It is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Sand Media changes. The current version and its date appear at the top of this page. For privacy questions, email support@sandmedia.cc.
